To help reduce man–animal conflict in the Pilibhit forests, WWF trained local tribal communities to manage bee boxes that act as natural fences. This rich, woody honey is harvested once a year from these bee boxes, placed deep inside the forests of the Pilibhit and Terai regions of the Himalayan foothills. With its deep aroma and bold flavour, this honey reflects the untouched wilderness it comes from and supports the livelihoods of the indigenous communities who protect these forests.
