Kashmiri Himalayan Honey(500 gms) & South Indian Wild Honey(500 gms)
1. Kashmir Honey
This Amber coloured, velvety honey with the most pleasant aroma comes from the valleys of Kashmir. This honey predominantly contains the nectar of the Acacia tree found in the Kashmir valley. Beekeepers harvest this honey from the beehives of the Apis Mellifera species of bees.
Every year during the months of May and June this honey is harvested and is available for limited time periods only.
When we started Honey & Spice we saw that Kashmir honey was primarily exported out of India and was not available for Indian consumers because of its high demand abroad. We started procuring this honey at a higher rate to make it available to the Indian consumer. Today we are proud to say that it is one of our most in-demand product.
2. South Indian Wild Honey
This amber-coloured honey is a precious gift from the forests of Southern parts of India. Hand-harvested annually during April to June, this honey is from the Apis Florea species of bees. It holds the nectar of various wildflowers, enriching it with exceptional health benefits.
This batch of honey will be Light Amber in colour due to the freshness of the harvest.✨ We promise, you will love the taste😋.

Every jar of wild honey you purchase indirectly improves the life of a tribal honey hunter community whose main profession has remained honey harvesting for thousands of years.
This ensures that the tribals do not have to migrate to the cities to live harsh lives away from the land they have lived in as a community for thousands of years.
