Cardamom, known as the queen of spices in India belongs to the ginger family. One of the world's very ancient spices, known for its rich and intoxicating aroma and complex flavors. It has warm minty & lemony tones.
Cardamom pods will be ready for harvest only after three years from planting. Our farmers meticulously harvest the cardamom pods by handpicking them and then sun dry them. Once dry, they are sorted & packed.
Cardamom seeds or pods are sometimes chewed to refresh the breath & as a digestive aid. It is best to store cardamom as whole pods in a sealed container in a cool, dry place.
